چکیده
We show that the effects of quantum interference can be implemented in Monte-Carlo generators by modelling the generalized Wigner functions. A specific prescription for an appropriate modification of the weights of events produced by standard generators is proposed.

The influence of the Bose-Einstein interference effect on the joint WW hadronic decay is discussed. It is shown that the weight method incorporating this effect into Monte Carlo generators produces in a natural way an excess of average multiplicity as compared to the independent decay of two W bosons. The quantitative results for the average multiplicity and momentum distribution of charged pio...

Recent results on modelling Bose-Einstein effect in Monte Carlo generators for a source with no spherical symmetry (as seen in the data on Z 0 hadronic decays) are reported. Modifications of the weight method necessary for W + W − decays are presented and some preliminary results concerning the " inter-W " interference effects are discussed. 1 Introductory remarks Recently one observes a renewa...

In this contribution we give a short overview of the new Coherent Exclusive Exponentiation (CEEX) which is implemented in the new KKMC event generator for the process e + e validity for center of mass energies from τ lepton threshold to 1TeV, that is for LEP1, LEP2, SLC, future Linear Colliders, b, c, τ-factories etc. In CEEX effects due to photon emission from initial beams and outgoing fermio...
متن کاملElectric field Monte Carlo simulation of coherent backscattering of polarized light by turbid medium
A method for directly simulating coherent backscattering of polarized light by a turbid medium has been developed based on the Electric field Monte Carlo (EMC) method. Electric fields of light traveling in a pair of time-reversed paths are added coherently to simulate their interference. An efficient approach for computing the electric field of light traveling along a time-reversed path is deri...
متن کاملA Simulation Study of Adaptive Filtering Applied to Mlse-psp Receivers
In this paper we address adaptive maximumlikelihood sequence estimation using per survivor processing (MLSE-PSP) over frequency selective fast fading channels. Special care is dedicated to the choice of the adaptive filtering algorithm (AFA) used in these schemes and its injluence on the receiver bit error rate (BER) pe~ormance. We try an in-depth investigation of LMS and KF performance in the ...
